You must have updated from quite an old version of the theme. This issue has happened in the past, due to the change (for the better) in the handling of that particular Front Page Posts Categories feature.

See, it helps a lot when you describe your issue clearly like that.

Try going to WP Admin > Appearance > Graphene Options > Front Page Options, and select Disabled.

Alternate home widget area is exactly that – widgets placed on that widget area will be displayed only on the home page. To have widgets displayed in all pages, don’t put the widgets in the alternate home widget area.

Also, always always include the link to your site. We don’t have super powers to conjure up your site using crystal ball.

It’s near (if not downright) impossible to investigate the issue without the faulty slider being there on your site. Can you reinstate it temporarily so that we can take a look?

Replacing the content of the includes/theme-head.php file with the updated one here should really fix the issue:

http://graphene.googlecode.com/svn/branches/1.6/includes/theme-head.php

That’s the code that the update contains. If it doesn’t work now, it won’t work after the update. But it really should work.
