When not perched on my workspace, I tremendously enjoy hiking in the bushes and climbing mountains. They serve as much-needed refuges from the pretense of cities.

In reply to: Top Bar not showing Social Media icons after new 1.7 update
May 4, 2012 at 9:56 pm #28009The issues you’re seeing are the direct result of copying entire content of the the theme’s
style.cssfile into your child theme’sstyle.css. You should not do this. Child theme’sstyle.cssfile should only contain CSS codes that you want to add or modify for the theme, not a copy of the theme’sstyle.cssfile.Admin
Post the URL to your site.

You should be able to, yes. Try it out and let us know.

Ah.. sorry, I was replying from the Tapatalk app. Guess the URL to forum posts only work in that app.
Here’s the working link:

I wish I could, but there’s just no “magic button” that I can push to make it responsive automatically. A lot of things will have to be changed and modified, and it will seriously be a lot of work. It’s something you do during the initial development of a theme, not when it’s grown as complex as Graphene is now.
Oh well, there’s always Graphene Mobile 🙂

Rolling back updates is really not the answer, even though you certainly can. Doing so will just make it more difficult for you to “make the jump” as newer versions are published.
Most of the time, issues are caused by improper implementation of customisations on your end, or even simply forgetting to refresh the cache. Either way, we can help you with that, provided you’re willing to put in the efforts of course.

Erm, inch really have no meaning in websites, as monitors with different sizes and resolutions will each display different absolute length. Pixels is the more suitable unit.
That aside, you’ll need to go to WP Admin > Appearance > Header and upload your header again. If you’re using the default headers supplied with Graphene, they won’t be resized, simply because it’ll make them pixelated and just look ugly.

How about Zesty Orange?
I think Josh didn’t realise that one of the new features of Graphene 1.7 is colour presets, hence his ????? Lol..
