In reply to: mobile neo is activatet for Screen???

    Hi Sabines,

You should not activate the Graphene Mobile Neo theme. Using a non-mobile device (e.g. laptop or PC or Mac), follow these steps and you should be able to set it up properly:

    1. Activate your previous desktop theme (WP Admin > Appearance > Themes)

    2. Activate the Graphene Mobile Neo Helper plugin (WP Admin > Plugins)

    3. Follow on-screen instructions, if any.

That’s it! If you’re still having issues, we do provide free installation service for you, so just let me know if you need that.

The helper zip file is a plugin, so it should be installed as a plugin. Reactivate the Graphene theme, and then activate the helper plugin and follow the instructions that will appear on screen. Let me know if you need further assistance.

The files are deleted due to the way WordPress auto-update mechanism works – it deletes the theme’s folder entirely first, then recreates the folder and places the updated files in there. This is just like making any modifications to the theme’s files – those will be lost when the theme is updated.

There isn’t a standard way all websites look – it all depends on what a specific website (or in this case, a theme) wants to achieve. There are actually plenty of websites that have the navigation menu right-aligned.

Aesthetics aside, this also places more emphasis on the logo since the top left is one of the earliest visual hotspot for a visitor – great for building brand awareness among your visitors.

    Hi Nielsssie,

You can see a comparison between Graphene Mobile and Graphene Mobile Neo here:

    https://forum.graphene-theme.com/graphene-mobile-neo/features-comparison/

And yes, you can use Graphene Mobile or Graphene Mobile Neo with any existing website with Graphene already installed. Installation is pretty straightforward, but we also provide free installation service if you need it.

We’ve designed the header to be minimalist – the header image was meant to be your site’s logo, which is why it replaces the title text. The navigation area where the header is has a very small footprint, so that emphasis can be given to the slider area.

In this design, slider plays the prominent role in presenting the main intent of the site, and not the header. With a well-thought of heading in the slider coupled with dramatic / complementing slider image, you can deliver a much more effective message than a static header.

This was a design decision. In non-RTL sites, the menu is aligned to the right, so it is flipped to the left side on RTL sites.

This was a design decision – the slider image was meant to be a background image that complements the large typography, not replacing it. If you have a background image that already has text in it, you can hide the text in the slider using the theme’s Custom CSS option.
