This was a design decision – the slider image was meant to be a background image that complements the large typography, not replacing it. If you have a background image that already has text in it, you can hide the text in the slider using the theme’s Custom CSS option.
Ok, but in most cases I have an image that supposed to show something about the post, not necessarily with test, but the white text over it is almost not seen.
So editing the custom CSS per post for font color or display doesn’t seems to be a way to work.
