When not perched on my workspace, I tremendously enjoy hiking in the bushes and climbing mountains. They serve as much-needed refuges from the pretense of cities.

How does the layout break apart from the header images? Try using AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild to resize your previously uploaded images automatically.

No need HTML code for that. It’s already displayed when you in posts and comments that you write, as well as the author profile page if you leave the “Author profile image URL” field empty in WordPress admin > Users > Your Profile.

The “Bookmark on Delicious Digg this post Recommend on Facebook share via Reddit Share with Stumblers … ” must be added by some plugin that you’re using. Try using manual excerpts for posts that you want to be displayed in the slider.

In the upcoming version, each sidebar item will be given a specific ID and class so you can target them individually, or according to type.

Just to be clear: the Author Profile Image option you set in the Admin > Users > Your Profile page is only displayed in the Author Profile page, for example, this one: http://www.brasilsolidario.org.br/blogamigosdoplaneta/?author=29
For the other user icons, it uses your gravatar, which you can set up in the link Kim provided above. Just use the same email address that you use to register on your WordPress site.

Looks like you managed to customise your header just fine. Is this your website: http://huimusic.com/ ?

Hmm…could you clarify which picture exactly are you referring to? And why do you need the HTML code for your picture?

In reply to: Slider images – post image not displaying, odd placeholder appearing though?
May 17, 2011 at 4:00 am #14085Not sure I quite understand what’s the problem. You seem to be able to insert pictures into your previous posts just fine. Just do the same thing.

If you want to add a picture to your sidebar, follow the link that Kim pointed to above, and follow the steps there. In general, what you would have to do is this: 1) upload the picture, 2) add a new Text widget to your sidebar, 3) add the HTML code to display the picture inside the Text widget.
If instead you want to use a gravatar, you don’t have to do anything else, as you’re already using one!
I do notice that your profile page ( http://www.sararuns.com/author/admin/ ) is not showing your gravatar though. Just go to your WordPress admin > Users > Your Profile and delete whatever you put in the “Author profile image URL”.

Currently, no. May I ask why you would not want to display the author’s page though?
