Problem with Author Profile Image URL

    Great theme!

However, I cant seem to get the Author Profile Image URL to work correctly. When I enter a url for the image it just disappears when I update the profile and no image is shown for the user. I am making sure the image is small enough to meet the requirements. Gravatars work ok. Am I just missing something obvious or is the feature broken.

    Thanks

Avatars are set to on. It also appears that the only thing that works is my Gravatar. nobody else’s. Plus I still cant manually link an image.

    Thanks

I’m having the same problem. I can’t update/add an Author Profile Image based on an URL: Nothing changes after I click on “update profile” – even when I get the “user updated” confirmation message.

    I’m using Graphene 1.2.1 and WordPress 3.0.5.

    Thanks.

Can you provide links to your website where it’s not working? I’ve just tested the feature again and it works fine.

Just to be clear: the Author Profile Image option you set in the Admin > Users > Your Profile page is only displayed in the Author Profile page, for example, this one: http://www.brasilsolidario.org.br/blogamigosdoplaneta/?author=29

For the other user icons, it uses your gravatar, which you can set up in the link Kim provided above. Just use the same email address that you use to register on your WordPress site.

I have a problem with the author profile image URL too.

It’s happening when I’m trying to edit something on another user’s profile page. Whenever I’m doing this, when the other user’s profile editing page is loaded, the field “author profile image URL” is filled with MY profile image URL. It means I have to change this back to the user’s image, every time I want to change something on his profile. When I change the URL back to the user’s URL, then validate the changes, it’s working on front-end (the image displayed on the other user’s profile page IS the user’s image), but on back-end (profile editing page), MY profile image URL is pre-loaded again.

Is it a bug or is it working as intended ?
