When not perched on my workspace, I tremendously enjoy hiking in the bushes and climbing mountains. They serve as much-needed refuges from the pretense of cities.

In reply to: Slider stops working (sometimes) when Excerpts Display Option set
October 7, 2011 at 10:33 am #17809This could be that WordPress takes only 55 words for the automatic excerpt, and that the closing tag for that
<strong>tag is not within that 55 words, hence it was never closed.Admin
From what I see the code you grabbed from Facebook is still for 255px. Are you sure you’ve entered a smaller width in Facebook when you get the code?

I thought you moved those customisations from the Custom CSS into the child theme?

Josh, it’s the same issue causing your modified footer to appear in admin pages as well. It’s an issue where everything in the Custom CSS is being applied to the admin pages as well, when it shouldn’t.
Try replacing the theme’s functions.php file with this updated one here: http://graphene.googlecode.com/svn-history/r227/branches/1.5.3/functions.php

Those author links are actually generated by WordPress, not the theme. I’m afraid there’s not much we can do on the theme’s side. Try asking in the WordPress.org support forum.

I think WordPress treats the page that is set as the posts page as just a placeholder for listing the posts. It does not display anything from that page itself, including the content and the featured image.
