    In reply to: Neo not working with Graphene Plus

    #49952

    Hi Larry,

    Graphene Plus has been designed to work equally well on both desktop and mobile devices. As such, there is no longer a need to use other mobile themes like Graphene Mobile Neo for optimised display on mobile devices.

    If you do decide to still use Neo for mobile devices, you can install the SiteOrigin Page Builder plugin to retain the page builder feature. However, Graphene Plus includes many custom codes to enable deep integration of the page builder. For example, the layout you built may look perfect on both desktop and mobile devices when using Graphene Plus, but might not look as perfect on Neo. Custom page builder features implemented by Graphene Plus will also simply not be available when Neo is used.

    You can add the following CSS code:

    .carousel-caption,
    .carousel-indicators,
    .carousel-control {
    	display: none;
    }

    In the next update, there will be an option to disable all captions from the slider.

    In reply to: Helping translating the theme

    #49926

    Hi @drohdekage,

    Ever since WordPress integrates the whole translation process, it is largely out of our control. Previously, we used to be able to easily update the translation files with every theme update. This is not the case anymore, and we are also unable to approve or confirm the translation.

    Translations can be confirmed or approved by “translation editors”. I have requested the WordPress German locale team to add you as a translation editor. Each locale team might have specific requirements for adding translation editors, so it’s not guaranteed that they will add you.

    If you have any feedback and suggestion, you’re always free to post it on this forum as we always do read it, though at times it might take a few days before we can respond to it.

    Every major update of Graphene Plus is also always accompanied by major update for Graphene, so rest assured that support and development for Graphene will not suffer. In fact, it is because of the gain from Graphene Plus that we are able to pour in more resources into supporting and developing Graphene further.

    #49923

    Hi Sylaxo,

    Graphene Plus files are not included in the standard Graphene theme package, therefore you shouldn’t see Graphene Plus strings in the translation list. There might be a small number of strings in shared files that are used in both themes, but there shouldn’t be many of these.

    Can you list down some examples of strings with unclear context? Thanks!

    Unfortunately there is no action hook for this, as the whole content is the post is generated by the WordPress function the_content(). There is a built-in WordPress filter hook to modify the content, but this will need a child theme and is more complicated to implement.

    This is a compatibility issue with the Social Media Follow Buttons Bar plugin. We’ve developed a fix for it and will be included in the next update.

    Not sure about that. You might want to try asking for support from the plugin developer or the support forum on WordPress.org, as they might have more details and insights on the issue.

    This looks like an issue with the video player instead of with the theme. To confirm, try switching to the TwentySeventeen theme temporarily and see if the issue persists.

    Hi Joel,

    Have you uploaded the videos? Please share the links so that we can take a look.

    Looks okay to me. The borders in the shopping cart table is not visible because of the colour settings for your site.
