When not perched on my workspace, I tremendously enjoy hiking in the bushes and climbing mountains. They serve as much-needed refuges from the pretense of cities.

Actually, if you use the More Tag, the theme will add a “Read the rest of this entry” button instead of the typical “Read More” button.

Quote:So I assigned a custom menu to the mobile and now have the drop down menu, but I have 7 pages in my main menu, so that depending on the size the the device there are multiple rows to list them. This is an inherent characteristic of mobile devices – in that it has very limited screen space. Which is we’ve provided means for you to use different menu on for the mobile theme than the desktop theme. The intent is so that you can create a menu that’s more optimised for the limited real estate in mobile devices by using less menu items, short menu labels, etc.
Quote:When I select the main the secondary menu hides the items in the primary menu and there seems to be no way to close the secondary menu so that I can see the primary menu again. I have to press the back button and end up on a previously viewed page. The secondary (or dropdown) menu shouldn’t hide the top-level menu. It should just be displayed below the top-level menu. Can you provide the URL to your site so that we can take a look.
Quote:Also there is no way to go back to the home page once you leave it, because when you press the home button all is does is open the secondary menu. The site title in the header is linked back to the home page. It is also advisable to not place any dropdown menu items under the Home menu item if you have one.

Quote:Is there way to make a widget only appear on Pages and Posts and hide it on search, tags, etc?Use the Widget Logic plugin.

Easiest would be to use CSS to hide those links.

Graphene does not control how images are cropped, that is performed by WordPress. Try finding a plugin that allows you manually define the crop area for each image.

Marking thread as resolved. You can do this yourself as well.

The width of the header image takes on the width of the container area. You can change the width of the container area using the theme’s options in Graphene Options > Display > Column Width Options.

Quote:I am not doing a blog just a website and I didn’t see any reason for the jump to category button or uncategorized, but didn’t see how to change it. I see on the demo there are some listings in that drop down area, but I didn’t see how to change any of that. And my page only gave me the two buttons mentioned. The theme will list all categories in your site there. If your site doesn’t have any category, only the default category “Uncategorized” will be shown. We’ll add an option to turn off this feature in the next update.
Quote:In the menu area it shows all the main pages, but unlike my Graphene webpage there isn’t a button next to the parent page to show child pages. I see on the demo version that there is a drop down arrow for one of the pages and when you tough it the child pages are listed in the section right below the main menu. What do I need to do to have that feature?Use a Custom Menu and assign it to the Graphene Mobile header menu in WP Admin > Appearance > Menus.
Quote:Also on the pages that have graphics it is putting the first graphic from the page at the very top of the page and then also in the position it belongs in. How do I fix this? You can disable this in WP Admin > Appearance > Graphene Mobile > Display > Posts Display Options > Hide automatic image at the top of posts.

In reply to: There does not seem to be an action hook for BEFORE the header menu?
May 10, 2013 at 12:57 am #38128You can use the
graphene_headeraction hook, and then use CSS to properly position it like you want.Admin
Try resetting the theme’s settings Graphene Options.
