In reply to: Problem drag an drop widget in the theme graphene since update 3.3 wp
December 16, 2011 at 8:44 pm #18404It’s not a WP 3.3 thing. I just installed, configured, viewed, and removed a widget with no problem.
If it’s not a plugin compatibility issue, you might want to make sure that your host still meets the minimum requirements necessary to run WP. You can find out more information about that here. I admit, this is probably not the case, but it can’t hurt to check.

Not that I’m aware of, no. Most people don’t want to emulate IE, since it does things so differently than
realahem… other browsers.Since this plugin works fine with an older version of IE, however, you might want to check if there is an update available for it.
When you say “only shows 30 days worth of events” do you mean that that is all it will show, or that you have to click something in order to go beyond the current 30 days?

Try using a custom menu: http://blog.kjodle.net/2011/08/25/how-to-create-and-use-custom-menus-in-wordpress/
You can arrange things however you want with a custom menu.

In reply to: Archive and meta in sidebar widget are frustrating me!
December 16, 2011 at 2:56 am #21236Johnny Canuck is right. If you are using the alternate front page widget area, you will need to add some widgets to that area to make them go away, or disable the alternate front page widget area.

It’s not your footer that’s the problem. Something on that page is too wide, and it is pushing your sidebar down beneath the forum and behind the footer. I can’t figure out what it is, though.

In reply to: How to stop image in post opening in new window when clicked
December 16, 2011 at 1:57 am #20940Or they can do a Google image search on your site, which brings up all your images. Or view your source code to find the image URL. If someone wants it, there’s no way to really stop them.

In reply to: Change hover in navigation bar and rename home page
December 15, 2011 at 10:25 pm #21030You’ll have to do a bit of digging. Look through the navigation portion of the theme’s style sheet for anything labeled “current-menu”. (You’ll probably want “current-menu-ancestor”, but I may be mistaken here–it’s been a while.)
Add that to custom CSS or your child theme’s style sheet and style it like other menu items. Ditto “hover” items.
Rename the home page? Do you mean on the menu? You can use a custom menu for that. If you mean somewhere else, let me know.
Include a link if you need further help; it’s easier to offer specific advice.
