Thank you, Syahir. It worked! Have the codes changed? It used to be different for the slider. Also, I have the following:
.page .post-title {
display: none;
}Is it still valid?

Since the last 2 updates in Graphene, this CSS code is not working. My slider shows the title and the excerpts. How can I eliminate that and get back to what it used to be with just the post title? The web site is http://musicabrasileira.org/
Thanks in advance.

I have also been suddenly having problems. My home displays only a blank page as if it were the mobile display — but without content. I added nothing new to my site. I’m currently using a static page, as I have for several years without problems. When I try to customize it, the live preview shows up correctly. When I go to the live site, then it’s blank again. Any ideas on what is causing this suddenly?
Sharon,
Thanks for the code and compliment. It’s working nicely!

In reply to: Show one sticky post and 5 changing posts in the slider
March 6, 2014 at 7:15 pm #42158Thanks for the suggestion and for trying, too. Yes, changing the post date is an option. I might just do that. Too bad that “sticky” does not really do the job.
Thanks.

March 6, 2014 at 3:52 pm #42156Quote:Is it possible to add the sticky post to a sticky category then use the slider to display both?That is already what I have set up. My slider only shows one category. The sticky post is in that category. However, it is not sticking. The slider is set to show 6 items. The sticky item is older than those 6 items and no longer shows up in the slider.

In reply to: Add a short news blurb on front page but not as posts
January 31, 2014 at 12:07 am #41959I have good news! There was really no need to add any new plug-ins to achieve what I wanted. After careful thinking and digging, I realized Graphene provides the functionality I needed. I just used the slider to post my news items. I created a new category just that and made it such that it only appears in the slider and not in the static home page. Problem solved!
