    It’s that AddThis button at the top that’s causing it. Try adding this code in the Custom CSS option:

    div.atclear {
    clear: none;
    }
    .addthis_default_style {
    height: 20px;
    }
    .addthis_32x32_style {
    height: auto;
    }

    Hurm..would you mind giving me access to the WordPress admin and FTP access to your server so that I can investigate further. It’s difficult to try and guess where the problem is. Let me know.

    It’s probably Gimp saving the image file with a different colour profile. I’ve encountered this issue with Photoshop previously as well. Make sure you change the colour profile used by Gimp to the same colour profile used by your monitor, or vice versa. sRGB IEC61966-2.1 works for me.

    In reply to: Navigation drop-down menu hover font color

    #16360

    Post moved to the Graphene Theme’s support forum, instead of the Graphene Mobile support forum.

    For the menu hover color, try adding this to your Custom CSS:

    #header-menu ul li:hover > a,
    #header-menu ul li.current-menu-item > a,
    #header-menu ul li.current-menu-ancestor > a {
    color: #000;
    }

    As for the dropdown menu width, try setting 200 in Graphene Options > Display > Navigation Menu Display Options > Dropdown menu item width.

    Same issue with the desktop version (e.g., http://www.freetravelgenius.com/category/travelblog/) where there I would have to click on the title. I would like to have the read more there too.

    Hmm..weird, but it seems like the mobile theme is overriding the desktop theme’s read more filter. It doesn’t happen on the Graphene Theme’s demo site. Are you using custom excerpt for those posts?

    Of course, that doesn’t work in the mobile vesion so I was thinking of just linking to the category page which shows the same thing, but don’t know how to get a button in the main menu when I do it this way.

    Like Ricardo mentioned above, you can either create a custom link in the menu, or actually add a category item to the menu. If you don’t have the Category block on the left hand side of the Custom menu screen, just click on the “Screen options” at the top right of the page, and tick “Categories”.

    I am also taking suggestions for a public domain logo that would integrate well (asteically) with the graphene theme. I would be willing to switch to one of the other header backgrounds or use a whole new background.

    If you’re asking for design suggestions, I’m afraid I can’t help you there. I’m really a code person, and not a design person, so I have very little expertise (if at all) in aesthetic designs.

    This is probably a permalink issue. What’s your Permalinks settings?

    #16315

    Topic moved to the Support section. Please post in the correct section next time.

    When you’re using the Custom Menu feature, new pages won’t be automatically added to the menu. You would have to manually add the new pages to your custom menu, or tick the “Automatically add new top-level pages” option in your Custom Menu. This is the standard WordPress behaviour for that feature.

    Under Theme Locations box, I don’t have any menu selected for any of the three menus. If I do select the menu for the “Header Menu” item, then all the pages show up as parent, ignoring my parent-child selections.

    You would have to select the menu for the Header Menu location. Otherwise, the menu you created won’t be used at all. To create a parent-child relation in a custom menu, just drag the child menu items a little bit to the right under the parent menu item. See this page for more details: http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen

    Sorry, Graphene Mobile is not available for public beta. You would have to purchase it to (beta-) test it.

    Hi rochagm,

    Pardon me for the late reply. I didn’t realise there’s a new support request here.

    I took a look a your site, and it seems that the mobile theme is not active?
