Which height are you referring to? The individual menu item?

How big does the picture have to be? And can this option be a featured item?

At least as big as the slider is. If you changed the slider’s dimension after you’ve uploaded the pictures, you can use the AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild plugin to regenerate the proper sizes for uploaded images.

Oh, I believe that’s one of the built-in WordPress widgets. In that case try the WordPress.org support forum instead.

The only widget that the theme adds is just the Graphene Twitter widget.

You will have to write custom css codes to achieve that.

    1. Breadcrumbs. Lots of people need them and use them (via various plugins).

    2. Numbered navigation of posts in categories and tags, replacing the default one above the footer. Fairly obvious request. More useful and a lot prettier than the default one.

    3. Option to choose the pages on which a certain widget would not be shown. Would be a very cool feature to have.

    4. Some simple contact form, preferably using it via shortcode.

    5. Basic SEO options tab.

All of the features above can readily be achieved by using plugins. There’s really no use in reinventing the wheel and maintaining additional codes when the features can easily be implemented by plugins, which often do a better job at it.

p.s. just noticed that the <strong> tag in the main menu is hard coded in theme-menu.php. Isn’t it better to be able to choose it as an optional feature ?

The <strong> tag is added when the menu description is enabled. You can disable it in Graphene Options > Display > Navigation Menu Display Options.

You would have to ask the plugin’s author for that, since it’s the plugin that’s generating the HTML for the widget.

My parent theme is “Twenty Eleven” and “Graphene” is considered to be a child theme, right?

Nope. Graphene theme is not a child theme of any other theme.

If I need to change the tagline font and color (as an example), and the option is not within the “Graphene” style.css file, then I have to create some kind of additional child page?

If that’s all you wanna change, you don’t need a child theme for that. You can modify it right from the theme’s options page.

Moved to Support. Please post in the correct section next time.

Your issue is likely to be related to the server rather than the theme. Try contacting your host for support.

Wow, your dropdown menu width is too narrow. Go to Graphene Options > Display > Navigation Menu Options, and try insert “200” for the Dropdown menu width option.
