In reply to: How to have full-width featured post above homepage panes
June 16, 2014 at 1:34 am #42817I use a child theme and capable with HTML and CSS. Not so much with PHP but I can figure it out with some help. The featured post is not being designated with either a category or tag right now but I can use either. I’m using a category to designate the homepage panes but the ‘featured post’ is simply a cut and paste of a post that is not in the homepage pane category.
It is part of the FB Like Box Widget plugin.
Is there any solution to this or is it a problem with the WP e-Commerce plugin?
In the Options panel, pages 16,61 and 43 are listed in the pages and/or posts to display. Only 16 is showing, which is a standard page. 61 and 43 are Product Pages I have loaded the image both ways. I’ve created new Product Pages and tried loading the images via the media gallery or by adding the media. I have tried it as the first image and as the featured image.

June 11, 2012 at 12:33 am #29167Thanks, I figured that out right after posting the question. There must have been a theme update. Thanks.
Thanks. You were absolutely right.
Thanks. I tried that before I posted and it put my entire post on the front page. However, now it works fine. Maybe I grabbed the wrong code the first time.
Regarding explicitly defining the URL so that the shares and counts reflect the post URL rather than the homepage URL , how can I accomplish that when using the Action Hook Widget? Wouldn’t I have to place the AddThis code to each post in order to specify the url?
I’m embarrassed to say that both work. I’d missed a closing ‘}’ on the stylesheet entry just above where I was putting this new code in.
Thank you very much. You have a great blog, btw.
