And one other thing: take notes. Simply write down what you did and when you did it. This helps immensely when you need to undo something.

Hello again .. sorry I have to bother you again.
Aaargh…don’t be sorry. We are here to help. If I am busy with other things, I am not here to be bothered, you know. We were all noobs once. Some day you will be the expert.
Today I downloaded some plugins, and again my 1st header is floating to the center. I have entered a basic css to try and align to the left but the header will not adjust. Please can you tell me how to correct this so that both headers are sitting neatly to the left.
Really, you have helped to answer your own question here. Just back up, one step at a time, from what you have done, until things look the way they used to look. Whatever it is you just undid is the problem. Figure out which one that is and we can help you out with it.
As a reminder, you might want to read this first.

Wow, three different sites, and they all look somewhat different and yet related. I love what you’ve done with the color schemes, especially coordinating between post headings and widget headings. Well done!
For what it’s worth, here are the sites I use Graphene on:
Mr. Odle’s Big Bad Book Blog books and young people
…in some weird postmodern way… my personal blog
Mr. Odle’s Science Blog just in case I get a science teaching job
I don’t see eye-to-eye with some of what you’ve posted, but I do agree with you on one important point: Graphene is a great theme! Thanks for sharing!

Moved to Support in order to comply with the forum rules.
I also use the Piwigo plugin, because I use the Piwigo gallery on my main website. It is very easy to include pictures from my gallery on my blog. I haven’t done much with it yet because I haven’t had the time, but will in the next few months.
Other than that, the plugin mentioned above is widely used.

August 17, 2011 at 5:16 pm #16205(276/774)100=36%. It’s weird that one business is 36% and the other is 80%. Clearly, you have a more informed bunch at the other site.
Well, Seamonkey is from Mozilla, same as Firefox. I may switch to it (composer, that is) for future site updates, because I haven’t even begun to explore all its possibilities.
I’m seeing a few items on your page (now using Firefox 6.0) and they look great. IE9 looks good as well. Sorry, I don’t even have IE8 installed on my computer.
From the forum post:
Originally I had uploaded the thumbnail images through FTP and used that URL in the products database. After reading this thread I first activated the smart thumbnail option, which did not solve the problem. Then I uploaded the images through the Media Library, reset the URLS to the new location on a couple of them, and still no difference.
You know, a lot of people think that they have to upload images to the media gallery before they can use them in a post, but that is not true. I have always found the easiest solution is to simply add them to the post.
When I switched to graphene (which looks awesome), I am getting an error displaying the products thumbnails (the pictures next to ‘add to cart’) when using IE8
Shame on me, but I forgot to ask what is the nature of this error.

This is an up-close example from my personal blog of “a little bit to the right under the parent menu item”. This is so cool to see in action, I sometimes want to create something just to add to the menu!
Have fun,

August 16, 2011 at 5:52 pm #16203Well, nothing shows up when I go to your site, so I don’t know what to say.
IE is buggy. On that note, we do all our readers a favor when we recommend that they switch to Firefox, which is more stable, more secure, more customizable, and more elegant. Even Opera is better than IE.
Oh my gosh, you’re the other person who downloaded Seamonkey! Glad to finally meet you!

This is an “out of the box” site (no modifications) and it looks great!
You can go here and scroll to the “Support the developer” section

Just found a page which uses Graphene and does show sharing buttons on the front page here. Be sure to post that URL!

Maybe I’m mistaking what an “index” page is. I mean something like your homepage where you have 10 or whatever posts listed.
No, you are correct in this.
People should not have to click through to the actual post before they can share.
But the expectation is that people should actually read the entire post before they share. Do you have excerpts on your front page, or complete posts?
(BTW, you should include a link to the site in question, as per the forum rules. Maybe Graphene does support this and there is a conflict with some other plugin we could help you to figure out.)
