text alignment

Hello again .. sorry I have to bother you again. You were very helpful with correcting my header last time I messaged. And all seemed well until today. I followed your instructions and simply made changes in header display options and the header neatly corrected itself to the left.
Today I downloaded some plugins, and again my 1st header is floating to the center. I have entered a basic css to try and align to the left but the header will not adjust. Please can you tell me how to correct this so that both headers are sitting neatly to the left.
my website is http://everydayshare.com/blog
many thanks

Aaargh…don’t be sorry. We are here to help. If I am busy with other things, I am not here to be bothered, you know. We were all noobs once. Some day you will be the expert.

Really, you have helped to answer your own question here. Just back up, one step at a time, from what you have done, until things look the way they used to look. Whatever it is you just undid is the problem. Figure out which one that is and we can help you out with it.
As a reminder, you might want to read this first.

Weird…
Did you try undoing this:
I have entered a basic css to try and align to the left but the header will not adjust
?
Or was that before you downloaded some plugins? And are you sure you didn’t activate any of those plugins? Just adding a plugin shouldn’t change anything, but if one is activated…well, you know what can happen.
But again, thinking about it, I’m not sure what you mean by this
again my 1st header is floating to the center.
What is “1st header”? If you mean the H1 that is the site title in the header, it is left-aligned in my browser (Firefox 6.0). If that’s not what you mean, what do you mean?
Scratchin’ my head,
Ken
Hello and thanks again for your reply.
I have removed the css instruction and I have deactivated all of the plugins. On my screen my H1 header which reads ‘Everyday Share’ is floating in the center of the header. The H2 which reads ‘Change and Efficiency: Systems, Processes and People ..’ sits flush to the left and I have no problem with that (touch wood). I use Internt Explorer.
Just to check.. I have been to the local library and I do not know what they use but my site headers are misaligned there too 🙁
Hope you can help. thank you.

The alignment of your header texts look fine to me. What version of IE are you using?
Admin
Even on IE8 the header text still shows aligned to the left, like in the screenshot I posted above. Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache?
Admin
Can you try using other browser, like Firefox?
