Why don’t you try adding a post — just one, with text — and seeing if the slider still works.
If so, add another one — text and pictures, like before — and seeing if the slider still works.
If you are using a caching plugin, please disable it.

I deleted my most recent news post, effectively restoring the site to the state it was in when the slider functioned fine.
It’s kind of hard to guess at what is wrong when it’s not wrong anymore.
That said, when did you upgrade Graphene and WordPress? Was the slider working fine for a while (1 to 2 days, at least) after upgrading?
You can try disabling your plugins temporarily and seeing if that takes care of the problem. Or maybe it was something on that most recent news post…a bit of weird code, perhaps?
A maintenance release (1.6.1.) for Graphene will be available soon, which may take care of this. Or you could take a look around in the forum to see if there is an answer there.

The 1.6.1 maintenance release was uploaded to the WordPress theme repository sometime this week and is awaiting approval. It should be available any day (moment?) now.

I see them in Firefox here:

Backup your wp-config.php file first. You then don’t have to edit it again to turn debugging off–you can just upload a copy of the original file.

I’m a bit confused by this:
I want users to be able to bypass that page when accessing my site.
So, you want registered users who don’t/can’t log in? Or you just don’t need/want users to register? Nobody really needs to login in order to view a WP site, unless you’ve gone to some trouble to hide it.

see the drop down menu only when I click?
I just noticed this. That could be interesting. Let us know if you get it running.

In reply to: Can't access admin panel (site works) with Internet Explorer
February 24, 2012 at 6:53 pm #24770First of all, IE (even version 9) doesn’t behave like a real browser. I would take just about any other browser–Safari, Chrome, Opera, Konqueror–over IE. Hence Prasanna’s amazement–and my incredulity that anyone trying to do anything serious on the web would even consider IE. My personal preference, and the preference of many in the coding community, is Firefox, both for its stability, its ease of use, its state of constant development, its ability to be augmented without plugins taking over your whole computer (typical of IE “plugins”), etc., etc.
Okay, end of rant. is
You really have two choices here.
Chances are that there is some sort of security setting, either within IE or within Windows (and there is a very blurry border between them at times), that is causing this problem. You can look for this setting and adjust it. This could take anywhere from five minutes to days or even weeks. I’ve just logged into several of my sites with IE9 and didn’t have this problem, which leads me to believe it’s some sort of security setting, especially since Chrome doesn’t present this issue.
Other choice: use a much better browser. I like Firefox.
I realize this may not be the help you were looking for, but I hope that it is.

Either way, the functions.php (it works fine) is not the issue it’s the style.css file.
Well, not quite. If you have a properly formatted and uploaded child theme, then the original style sheet shouldn’t be loading at all. Something is causing it to load, which is why I suspected the functions file.
Why don’t you provide a link to the site in question so we can take a closer look?
