While my site still works fine, i can’t access the admin login page with Internet Explorer. If i use Google Chrome i can see the page and log on admin panel.

    The solutions i tried:

    – function.php checked for spaces

    – clear browser cache

    – deactivate all the plugins

Any ideas? My site is http://www.domnista.gr

No, I just amazed by seeing people who still use Internet Explorer. You can expect solution from other volunteers as I don’t have IE to check the issue.

First of all, IE (even version 9) doesn’t behave like a real browser. I would take just about any other browser–Safari, Chrome, Opera, Konqueror–over IE. Hence Prasanna’s amazement–and my incredulity that anyone trying to do anything serious on the web would even consider IE. My personal preference, and the preference of many in the coding community, is Firefox, both for its stability, its ease of use, its state of constant development, its ability to be augmented without plugins taking over your whole computer (typical of IE “plugins”), etc., etc.

    Okay, end of rant. is

You really have two choices here.

Chances are that there is some sort of security setting, either within IE or within Windows (and there is a very blurry border between them at times), that is causing this problem. You can look for this setting and adjust it. This could take anywhere from five minutes to days or even weeks. I’ve just logged into several of my sites with IE9 and didn’t have this problem, which leads me to believe it’s some sort of security setting, especially since Chrome doesn’t present this issue.

Other choice: use a much better browser. I like Firefox.

I realize this may not be the help you were looking for, but I hope that it is.
