When not perched on my workspace, I tremendously enjoy hiking in the bushes and climbing mountains. They serve as much-needed refuges from the pretense of cities.

Yes, you would need to change the CSS, and I recommend that you implement the change using a child theme so that it won’t be lost when you update the theme.
I haven’t tried making the theme’s width fluid though. There might be a few CSS elements that needs modification, and I’m not sure how the looks will be with fluid width.

In reply to: Author Page – only showing 5 most recent posts – can this be increased
November 13, 2010 at 11:14 am #11482I’ve added a filter that you can hook to using your child theme’s functions.php file to change the number of author’s latest posts and most commented posts. Will be available in the next release.
Ask me again then how to use wordpress filters in your child theme’s functions.php file after the next update (if you don’t already know it).

By default, the theme shows the full text truncated by the Continue reading link only if you include the <!–more–> tag in the post. Just remove the <!–more–> tag from the posts if you don’t want the Continue reading link to be displayed.

Noted. Any more suggestions on making the theme more SEO-friendly?

Those are all valid PHP includes for the theme. No virus activity.

There’s no option for that in the theme. If you want, you need to create a new
sidebar.phpfile in your child theme and copy the codes from the Graphene theme’ssidebar.phpfile and modify the PHP conditionals to display the alternate sidebar in all static pages.Admin

You can download that version using this link: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/download/graphene.1.0.7.zip?nostats=1

The custom header and background are managed by WordPress and not the theme. The theme merely provides support for the functionality, so when WordPress detects that you have a different theme (child theme included), the custom header and background don’t automatically get assigned to the child theme.
You’d have to upload and set the custom header and background for the child theme to get them to be applied for the child theme.
