I have the “enable alternate front page sidebar widget area” toggled ON in the theme’s options, but when I choose the default template for one of my static pages, the sidebar widget area for that static page is not the alternate front page widget area. Is there a way that I can make the static page widget area the alternate front page widget area, instead of the posts’ widget area, even if I don’t make that static page my home page?
Thanks,
Ben
There’s no option for that in the theme. If you want, you need to create a new sidebar.php
file in your child theme and copy the codes from the Graphene theme’s sidebar.php
file and modify the PHP conditionals to display the alternate sidebar in all static pages.
Thanks!
