When not perched on my workspace, I tremendously enjoy hiking in the bushes and climbing mountains. They serve as much-needed refuges from the pretense of cities.

The current slider option already has the capability to implement what you requested. You can create a new category (for example, a “Featured” category), and then assign all posts that you want to be displayed on the slider to that category.
Then in the theme’s options page, select the “Featured” category as the category to be displayed in the slider.

This is usually caused by unclosed divs in somewhere in the content or the sidebar.
I’ve looked at your website and the unclosed div is probably in the sidebar item where you put the Truth Pandemic image under the Worth Reading list. Just add a closing
</div>at the end of that sidebar item and it should fix it.Admin
Hi David,
Sure. I’ve sent the bank account details to the email you used to register on this forum.
Thanks!

Use CSS to modify the styling however you like it

Even if you don’t have access to the polls, you can still modify the styling (including the width, font-size, etc.) using CSS.
Otherwise, to use a one-column layout for that page, see this post: https://forum.graphene-theme.com/topic/one-column#post-56
As for the slider, somehow the javascript is loaded, but is not executed. Maybe there’s a conflicting scripts somewhere. Is it possible to deactivate all plugins to see if it works?

January 8, 2011 at 3:29 pm #12015Right now you can only change it by adding new CSS rules to a child theme.
