When not perched on my workspace, I tremendously enjoy hiking in the bushes and climbing mountains. They serve as much-needed refuges from the pretense of cities.

Currently there’s a bug introduced in WordPress 5.6.1 that causes this issue. It’s out of our hands unfortunately; we’ll have to wait for an official fix from WordPress.

February 4, 2021 at 3:15 pm #51661That is just a static image of the feature. It doesn’t actually reflect the default settings.

Try clearing your WP Fastest Cache minify cache. This should have been fixed in the latest version.

We will add featured image to pages in the next theme update.

In reply to: Post/excerpt images missing after updating from 2.8.2 to 2.8.3
February 4, 2021 at 9:33 am #51653Tried updating to 2.8.3 yesterday and again this morning. Each time, I lost my custom CSS font-size (now huge) and list and blockquote settings but more importantly, lost my post images and the images accompanying the menu of post excerpts on the home page.
Can you update to 2.8.3 again so that we can assess the issue and assist you in troubleshooting the site?
The way to change it back from Grid (Customizing ▸ Graphene: Display Posts layout) to Standard (which gives you the images on the home page) is only available in the paid version of Graphene. Since the Standard look is what I prefer, I guess I’m being effectively forced to paying for the theme, a decision I’ve yet to make. Doing so has been on my mind but this underhanded way of forcing me isn’t making the decision easier.
This isn’t the case. Even in Graphene Plus, the default posts layout is set to Standard instead of Grid. The default is always set to the common feature set between Graphene and Graphene Plus.

This is the slider. You can disable the slider from Customizer > Graphene: General > Slider > Disable Slider.

Thanks for the report. We’ll include a fix in the next theme update.
Admin
Thanks for that. The next theme update should address this issue.
