This could be a memory limit issue, i.e. PHP ran out of memory while fetching that many child pages.

Try opening up your WordPress’s wp-config.php file and insert this code:

ini_set('memory_limit', '64M');

Just an update: it seems like this issue arises from WP 3.2 updating the bundled jQuery to version 1.6.1. jQuery Tools was built on jQuery 1.4.2.

Seems like a WordPress issue to me. Files/folders permission problem, maybe? You’ll probably find more help in the WordPress.org support forum, as this forum is mainly for issues related to the theme.

That said, if you try changing the theme to TwentyTen (or TwentyEleven), does the same problem occur?

Your header has this URL as background: http://www.daniellehanifin.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/cropped-banner3.jpg , but when I tried to access that URL, I got a 404 Not Found error.

This means that either the image is not actually there, or something is wrong with your permalink settings. Try using FTP to check if the image is actually there.

The problem seems to be with the Prototype and Scriptaculous library, which the theme doesn’t use. Try disabling plugins one by one to see which one is causing the issue.
