Slider not working on IE8
-
Hi Syahir,
Firstly I must say that your theme is the first theme I have LOVED from the first instant.. Excellent work!
I seem to have had a problem since upgrading WordPress 3.1.3 from 3.1.2 last week. I am not sure that this is the cause of the problem as my client only noticed the error today.
It seems in IE8 the featured slider isn’t auto sliding, however works fine with IE9, Chrome and Firefox. There’s no error appearing on the page, however on the status bar at the bottom it’s showing an error message ‘Object doesn’t support this property or method’ for jquery.js and prototype.js
A second error is ”style’is null or not an object’ for lightbox.
My client sent me a screenshot of the error and I’m happy to send to anyone that can help.
The website is http://www.natashagriggs.com.au
Thanks
Jami

The problem seems to be with the Prototype and Scriptaculous library, which the theme doesn’t use. Try disabling plugins one by one to see which one is causing the issue.
Thanks Syahir!
It is actually the lightbox 2 plugin which is a bit of a shame.. I’m a bit green so not sure on what to look for.. However I’ve disabled the plugin and it’s working fine now..
Will have to look for a new one 🙂
