This usually occurs when WordPress is sending an update request with an expired key. Most of the time, simply try updating again would fix the issue. If it doesn’t, let me know.

Your transition speed is 4000 miliseconds – that’s 4 seconds! That’s why it’s slow. It takes 4 seconds to transition from one slide to another. Change that to 400 and it should be fine.
