The next section ‘Premium Features’ looks like it is pulling in the latest posts. How do you modify how many posts show up? Are you able to modify that?

That takes the setting from WP Admin > Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most option.

That is simply the content of the Static Front Page. The photos are added using standard WordPress gallery feature (Add Media > Create Gallery).

    Hi Jonathan,

You can set custom menu to be used for Neo on each of the site. Just go to WP Admin > Appearance > Menus for each of the site and assign custom menu to the “GM Neo Header Menu” menu location.

    Dear Evil Overlord,

Thanks for the excellent feature suggestions. We do have existing plans to implement some of them, and you might see them in the next major version update.

I have just sent an email to your registered email address with regard to the admin access to your site.

    Hi Jdamonte,

Any specific error you’re getting when you say that the Neo helper plugin won’t activate? If you like, we do provide free installation service for both Graphene Mobile and Graphene Mobile Neo, so we can go in and install the theme for you.

What would make this a lot more user-friendly and slick is if the dropdown opened when you hovered over the parent item, and if the background to it was a slightly transparent black, with white font from the body text.

I can wait on an update for the aesthetic part, but is there some css tweak I could add to make the dropdown open on hover instead of a click?

This was an option we considered, but it simply wouldn’t work on mobile devices as there is no hover event on mobile devices, except for the limited subset of devices that have active stylus. Thus we have opted for the solution that works across devices – click (or tap) to open the dropdown. This is the standard implementation of the Bootstrap framework as well.

update: when I am on the sub-item page itself, it no longer lets me go to the parent item.

In context: I am on the “sign up for newsletters” page, and I cannot click on “NEWS” to go to the regular news page.

You still can – just click twice on the parent item. The first click will open the dropdown, the second click (while the dropdown is open) will take you to the parent page.

If this is not intuitive enough for your users, you can simply add another menu item to the dropdown list that will take them to the parent page again.

The next theme update which will be released soon will include just that option.

You can disable the listing of posts on the front page from Franz Josef Options > General > Front Page.

As for the misaligned posts, the next update will include Masonry layout which basically fills up the empty vertical spaces and doesn’t require the size of the posts (affected by image size, title length, and excerpt length) to be the same.

Here’s roughly how it’ll look like:

We’re looking at some time this week as there are still a few things that we need to do before we release the update.

The two button design is not hardcoded in the theme, but something that you can achieve with a combination of setting the slider to display full post content, and manually adding the buttons (just a standard link with special class attributes) into the post content.
