I’m just uploading right now….I’ll let you know in 5 mins….
Prasanna,
THANK YOU!
Josh,
Thanks for your reply….sorry about the multiple threads….I was just able to achieve what I need by using an action hook directly underneath the secondary menu….and then applying a negative TOP attribute to move it up in the secondary menu…seems to be functioning well…thanks though!
Ken,
That puts the search bar in the main navigational menu. It is disabled on my site as I am using a secondary custom menu. Can this search box be put in the secondary menu?
Josh,
I’m not so much concerned about its affect on SEO…..its that I don’t like the phrase “just another wordpress site” as my site description in google….how do i change this?? Meta description??
Sorry…I didn’t explain it very well. Let me try this again. If I go into the “links” panel in WordPress and create a new link….it allows me to enter both a link description and a link image. If I use the Link Widget in my sidebar….it first displays this image, then the description of the image directly underneath. I would like to reverse this is I can….so that the description of the link appears above the corresponding image for that link.
lol…you beat me to it ken…i quickly figured it out after you pointed me in the right direction with your first post! Thanks again!! Hey one more….in the blog roll widget….i’m displaying my links with an image and a description…but the description appears underneath the image…do you know how i could modify the css to display the description first, and then the image underneath?
Ken, thanks for the reply. I know I can use the ID tag to modify the div….but how would I style the h3 heading in say the blog roll widget?
Alright..this is getting weird. I installed the wp-pagenavi….and it works great when i’m signed in wordpress. As soon as i log out….and visit my site…..that page navigation at the bottom of the screen is gone and all posts are on the home page…..anyone know why this would be happening???
Thanks
Syahir,
Question for you….when I test how my site loads at tools.pingdom.com, it shows in my results for “page requests” 7 different JS files and 3 different CSS files…..should I not be seeing only one request for a JS file and one request for a CSS file….I thought this plugin was supposed to create one cached JS file and one cached CSS file so that it would reduce the number of server requests….am I correct or no?
