Holy smoke – how easy is that.
many thanks, theres so much to learn.
Easy when you know how – cheers
Thanks, I’ll take a look.
I am also playing with the footer widget area and found it displays the content down in a single column instead of across the page. (see http://www.1187sqn-atc.org.uk/ as it is at the moment). I have selected 4 columns in the display options.
Is there a way to place an item of content into these selected columns to make the footer spread horizontally across the page please?
Yes – that was it thanks. I had enabled a captioning plugin that caused the problem. Clearly not a good script given the formatting problems.
regards
Many thanks, the site isn’t finished but here is a link to a page for reference showing the image/text relationship I mentioned.
Please anyone have an idea what this is about.
I am inserting images in a page but the text does not flow and wrap around the image.
I have used the image properties to align the image left but the text still does not sit on the same line as the image and jumps to a new paragraph under it.
I’m really sorry. I misunderstood that function. Sorted that now.
I’m still getting to grips with the whole WP thing.
The custom css does not seem to work for me. I am trying to change the color in the surrounding top bar, nav, sides and footer. I wanted to change it from the default black to a navy blue.
I tried this as a start with no success:
#top-bar {
background-color: #28038F;
}
I thought your answer was a question. I see now it wasn’t.
The image options for alignment do not create a wrap around and places the text underneath in a new paragraph. I have tried a few times with various ways but can not make the text run alongside and continue under the image.
Any ideas please.
OK – that all new to me thanks. Looking at that link now to learn more.
