It just might seems like the plug-in: Map Categories to Pages is prevented from mapping

pages into the Slider (r152).

Well, based on your post & checking your site. I think the best advice right now is to have Clean WordPress 3.1.4 installed & then make a Graphene Child Theme based on Graphene 3.1.3 Just make a simple Child Theme style.css. Then within the next week or so the new Graphene 1.4x will have new color options build-in Theme options. Feel free to ask 🙂
