Yeah, I’m not sure what happened to that. I know I didn’t move it. I was going to ask you if you took it our for a reason. I’ll go look at why that disappeared.

    No Worries. It’s back.

Okay Mark, I need to leave you with this for a bit. Gotta go take the little girl to see Santa 🙂

You are now using a custom menu as your top navigation. All changes to the title, the subtitle, and the hoverbox can be adjusted by going to appearance -> menus

Expand the page you would like to change, and you can edit the contents to your liking.

Also, I removed the plugin mentioned above. Once you get your nav bar set up how you like it, you can try to reactivate this plugin and see if it interferes.

Please post back if you have any questions.

Looks good Mark. Did we get this fixed for you? Can we consider the topic resolved?

Did you try re-activating that “All in One SEO Optimization”?

Josh – How was your evening with you little one my friend?

Yes, all is well now, THANK YOU so so much for all you time and effort, I will be sending a small token soon!

And Yes, I did activate the All in One SEO Optimization and still working fine.

So what was the problem exactly? loll.

And now since you created the menu, is it a good rule to have all my pages in a menu?

PS: This worked out really nice, now I have some really cool “Title Attributes” and fly out and give more info!

Good Good. Glad to hear you got it to your liking.

Well, There were a few options you didn’t have selected from the “Screen Options” on the custom menu page. Also, the SEO plugin was adding the attributes somehow. Not sure how everything was working together, so just started tweaking. I took out all things relating to nav titles and hover text, and started afresh.

Somewhere along the way, we disabled the problem.

I would recommend using custom menus from now on. You have much more flexibility with how the appear, what to include, etc. You can also add pages which include a drop-down, by “shifting” the page in the custom menu screen.

For example, you have “Home”, “About”, etc… You could create a new page “More about Mark”, and add it to your custom menu just underneath “About Mark”… and then drag it slightly to the right. You will see it places an indentation when you release the mouse button.

This makes it a child page underneath your main menu item (including the drop-down arrow). You can keep doing this with other pages (or posts, or categories), adding to the hierarchy.

Hope I explained this right 🙂

    @Prasanna – Loll…

Josh – Yes you made that easy to understand! I am going to work on getting all my pages into menus soon!

I do have one other small off topic question, is there an easy way or a sitting I can use to have my site display the home page text for exaple when I post it on Facebook, right now when I post it, it keep displaying the last post.

    Mark
