Header Image Problem (Version 2.1)
-
Hi,
I’ve just updated Graphene to v 2.1.2 and I’ve lost the header. I’m using a child theme.
Any suggestions how to fix this please?Cheers

Do you have
header.phpfile in your child theme?Yes I do.
Thanks
Admin
There is a change in the theme’s
header.phpfile in the latest version. If you haven’t modified that file in the child theme, you can just remove it from your child theme. If you have modified it, you will need to redo the modification in the newheader.phpfile.That’s sorted it. Thank you 🙂
I have also run into an issue where the graphene header widget is no longer displaying (worked fine in 2.0.4). I had a “Custom HTML” widget loading a couple images, overlaying them over the header image. If I inspect the page, it shows the header widget div loading after the header image, but that the div dimensions are 1220×0 and does not display the images. If I go to the actual Custom HTML widget, it shows the dimensions as 206×838, but should actually be 1194×100 (20×100 spacer / 100×100 image / 980×100 spacer / 94×100 image.)

I’m totally confused on this one. Like I said, this displayed perfectly up to version 2.0.4.
hello,
i used the feature “Action Hooks Widget Areas” > “graphene_header” to insert the widget “PHP Code” to load a “WOW-Slider” code-snippet. this worked fine until Version 2.1.1 but the functionality broke within the recent update 2.1.2: the header is not being displayed anymore at all (just the top-bar and the nav-menue).
could you please fix this again? thank you!p.s. great work your “Graphene Theme” (using it on several blogs :)!
