    I’m an idiot. I had this in my child theme stylesheet:

    #comments, #respond{
    display:none;

    I’ve removed it and now it shows. Sorry for wasting your time!!

    I have the Allow people to post comments checked and the graphene options is set to use wordpress settings already.

    I fear maybe I deleted the code to call the comments in the theme’s settings, but its been updated since then so that’d of been overwritten?

    Thanks, I have now installed a child theme, but the posts page (which I have now changed to http://www.hornetsfc.com/latest-news to see if it made any difference), still has lost its formatting in the footer widget section.

    Any ideas?

    EDIT: I reverted to the original theme template, with no changes to the style.css and still the page isn’t formatted correctly. I feel it now be something to do with the footer widgets. Am going to try removing them now to see what happens.

    EDIT 2: I have now removed the widget footer which has cleared the formatting problem as there is now nothing there to format, but none of the blog posts are showing up – not that they were before I removed the footer.

    I then changed the Reading Settings so the front page would display all the posts, and it too is not showing any :/

    What could be causing this?

    Ah right, ok. Thanks! Will give that a go.

    Just to expand the footer widget height questions…

    Is it possible to have two footer rows, each with two different heights?

    If you look at the footer now (http://test.y2neil.com) you’ll see that all the footer widgets are the same height. However whilst this is fine for the top three widgets, the bottom three could ideally be a different height to lose the white space.

    Is this possible?

    Many thanks,

    Thanks for your help guys! The height worked a treat and I shall sharpen up those images.

    Excellent! 🙂
