When not perched on my workspace, I tremendously enjoy hiking in the bushes and climbing mountains. They serve as much-needed refuges from the pretense of cities.

If you want just the home page to have the three-column layout, go to the Edit Page screen for the page that is used as the static front page. The,n select the three column template for that page in the right hand side of the Edit Page screen, under “Page Attributes”.

Quote:Failed to write file to disk.FWIW, that error is more likely to indicate an issue with the server rather than the theme, so you might want to ask your host about it. A quick litmus test would be to switch to the default TwentyEleven theme and see of the error persists.

Nope. The only (easy) way you can increase the width of the footer is by increasing the width of the main container. Otherwise, you’ll have to do some CSS acrobatics in order to increase the width of just the footer.

The sidebar is displaying fine on your homepage now. Were you having this issue when using the sidebar on the right hand side?

@akc1207, your error is just caused by PHP running out of memory. Try this fix:

Go ahead and activate that child theme first. If your child theme has been correctly setup, the assigned Custom Menu will be reset, as will the custom header and background. This is standard WordPress behaviour, so just go ahead and reconfigure your Custom Menu and custom header and background. Everything else should remain the same.
Post back here when you’ve done the above.

August 13, 2012 at 9:51 am #31786Looks like when you updated the content of the
admin/db-updater.phpfile, you accidentally left a space at the very beginning of the file, which is causing the error. Remove that stray space and all should be good.Admin
Did you forget to close the link element?
