Graphene Options > Display > Header Display Options > Search box location.

Try going through each of the available theme options – a lot of customisations options are available there. If you’re not sure what an option does, refer to the theme’s documentation.

I just went to your site again to investigate further, but there’s nothing I can see that would point to the cause of the issue. Like you said, the same feature is working on your test blog.

There’s something else I can try, but I would need FTP access to your main blog to do it.

That is to be expected, since WordPress core has a built-in caching mechanism for themes and plugins update check. It doesn’t check updates every time you log in to WP Admin – otherwise the millions of sites running on WordPress would quickly overload the update servers

But you can manually tell WordPress to check for updates by going to WP Admin > Dashboard > Updates, and click on “Check for updates”.
