I just went to your site again to investigate further, but there’s nothing I can see that would point to the cause of the issue. Like you said, the same feature is working on your test blog.

There’s something else I can try, but I would need FTP access to your main blog to do it.

It’s a bit technical. Basically, somehow the script that manages the redirection function of the select menu element is being executed too early before the select menu elements can enter the DOM (Document Object Model). I’m not sure why this happens on your site but not others, but my guess would be that something on your site is altering the execution order of javascript events that the function above is hooked to.

So as I understand you’ve changed something in the script on my theme? Am I correct?

If so, what will happen with future released of the theme?

The change will also be incorporated in future versions of the theme, so you dont have to worry about losing the change.
