This is most frequently caused by page caching plugins (eg. WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, etc.). Are you using any kind of caching plugin on your site?

Currently, the only way you can add that text is by adding a few lines of custom codes in a child theme. The custom page builder addon for Franz Josef (called Franz Josef Stacks) which will be available soon will make it very easy to customize the title text and add description text, among many, many features.

Yes. Just select “Show specific posts/pages” in Franz Josef’s slider options, and then specify which page you would like to be displayed in the slider.

At the moment the menu icons support only Font Awesome icons. Technically you could use your own images, but you will have to manually write the CSS codes for it.

As for the menu description, in WP Admin > Appearance > Menus, click on the “Screen Options” pulldown at the top right of the page, and tick on “Description”. Each menu item will then have an additional field for the menu description.
