    Out of interest, what is the maximum file size you would recommend for background image? Obviously i don’t want my website lo load slowly.

    Yea, i tried it and it didn’t look very good, i think the background image is way to dark.

    I will try a lighter background image later and see how it looks.

    Ok, thanks guys. I don’t use IE myself, but as 50% of people do i will change the ‘fallback’ colour so it doesn’t look so girly in pink. I can live without the colour gradient and the square boxes for users of IE.
