How to hide pages from search engines and visitors

Hi guys, when i do a google search for pure sauce it comes up with my site on page 1, but is has pages that I do not want people to see such as:

http://pure-sauce.com/category/pure-sauce-pics/

and

http://www.pure-sauce.com/author/steve

is there a way in graphene options to hide pages from search engines?

I am using Allinone SEO and will be using Google sitemaps if that makes a difference?

Graphene doesn’t have a way by default. But you can easily accomplish this with a robots.txt file:

http://www.golivecentral.com/pages/txttut/robots.shtml

Thanks guys, i will check those out. I think Robots.txt is the way to go.
