They actually would like no preview of the text at all, just the title and that’s it. I couldn’t find an option to do so, but perhaps there is some code I don’t know?

Also, I’m still getting spam hits and I changed everything over to link to the picture itself. Any other ideas? They’d rather not pay for akismet if they don’t have to, but if that ends up needing to happen it’s not a big deal.

Yeah, I should have been more descriptive. Originally I had more than one question but after some more searching I found what I needed for that and edited those questions out, wasn’t sure if I could change the title or not. Sorry about that. : )

It certainly does defeat the purpose of the slider that’s already built in, but since I’m just the doer and not the decision maker, I’ve gotta go with what they want.

It’s the home page. Eventually there will be a lot more text on the page, so it’s really rough right now, but my vision for it is having the text directly below the first picture wrapping to the right of the picture and then later we will have a paragraph that we want wrapping to the left of the bottom picture.
