The feature image problem went away (yay) but it seems to have come back, at least on my page. What’s weird is that all entries I did a few weeks ago are fine, but everything I’ve added in the last couple of weeks isn’t showing up correctly. And by that I mean the featured image is showing in the wrong size making new posts look terrible.

I’m using a child-theme, as recommended, and you can see the problem here: https://luminaris.com/wp/

    Thanks for any insight,

    Kim

(The dates on the entries are back-dated, all posts for December were created in the last few days while the ones for November were posted at the end of February, which is why it’s so weird that at that specific point in time the change in format seems to have occurred.)

I see … that’s unfortunate then because I, too, have the same problem with the images not showing up on the home page, and it would have been nice to be able to blame the problem on something 😉

The images disappeared after I updated the theme. I’m using a child-theme, would that be significant? My customizations are minor (mostly some colours and fonts) so if switching back to the original is recommended, I can try that.

Thats what I thought too, but then this:

The screenshot (if it works) clearly shows the Grid style is selected, not Standard.

The same thing has happened to me, though I blame the default settings in the new version.

The way to change it back from Grid (Customizing â–¸ Graphene: Display Posts layout) to Standard (which gives you the images on the home page) is only available in the paid version of Graphene. Since the Standard look is what I prefer, I guess I’m being effectively forced to paying for the theme, a decision I’ve yet to make. Doing so has been on my mind but this underhanded way of forcing me isn’t making the decision easier.
