December 13, 2011 at 1:53 am #21087I hate to mention it yet again, but you can forgo child pages altogether and use something like Kalin’s Post List Plugin to create all sorts of useful posts.

No need to correct you, Josh, you are absolutely correct. In fact, you can even go back and edit previous posts and assign them to a different author.

Yeah, it does. It’s just not as annoying (to me, at least) as the slide.

I’m not on my home computer right now, so I can’t tell you exactly what to change, but try using Firebug to identify the excerpt and button on the slider. Then add
.item {display:none;}to your custom css, replacing.itemwith whatever class those objects are.Alternately, you could search through the stylesheet for what you think might be the right items. Looking through that can also tell you the width you need in the slider.

December 12, 2011 at 11:45 pm #21085I’m not sure of a way to do that, really. Either parent pages display children or they don’t, regardless of whether they are password-protected or not. You might try searching the plugin repository for one that will do that.

Try this in your custom css:
.entry #footer {padding-top:0px;}Not tested, but close.

You will be able to adjust the column width in the next release, 1.6.
