In reply to: Sidebars with Widgets of articles disappeared – Pages Not affected
January 16, 2014 at 10:23 pm #41786The Problem is solved!
It was a due to an update of the “content aware sitebar” plugin, ehich now needs a preciser configuration by setting up some groups for displaying the sidebar.
While updating that plugin to the new version, some settings were overtaken not properly and this caused the sidebars to disappear-
Everything is fine again!
Everything Works fine.
I think I have to introduzier myself more in CSS programming :-))
Hi, Prasanna,
Thanks for quick response! It Works Fine!
By the Way, how can I adjust the Exzerpts width to the colum width as it is automatically done for a normal post according to default settings in the Grapheme Option Center.
Aditional Info:
Here ist the link of my homepage:
Important: The Homepage is not yet published!!!
My question ist refering to den Post marked TEST 2 which is an exerpt.
NOT the one being displayed in the slider!!!!
In reply to: Vers. 1.8 – Pictures in posts do not appear in category-archive but do in post-edit
August 13, 2012 at 9:38 am #31749Hi Josh,
yes your right, now they do! Obviously over night, because yesterday they didn´t…
So, it´s difficult to find out, whether it is a cache or browser problem/effect…
Well, so far everthing is almost normal again… ;-))
Hi,
with graphene quite simple:
You have to establish different sidebars for each page dealing with a different thing (apples, oranges etc.)
with this sidebar editor, you can fix the pages or posts where the refering sidebar with wdget should appear.
Example:
Sidebar “apple 1” for page or category apples
Sidebar “oranges 1” for page or category ornages
and so on.
In the sidebar menue when you set up the sidebars, be aware to check or uncheck all relevant fields so that thes actually appear only on the desired pages.
Just play a littel with the option offered there.
@Jay:
I also remarked the problem with gradient colors, because when I entered them, the colors in the Main menue bar fell back in de Blue-black setting which cannot be changed again.
It is possibly not only a problem with gradient or solid colors, because when I entered “white” (#ffffff) in both brackets for the Background color (high an low), the menue bar also falls back in the blue-black coloring…
Combination that works fine in main menue bar:
However it is possible to bring back the default colors by deleting bg-above and bg-below for the menue bar.
Then the system also accepts gradient colors for the dropdown menue and it works, too.
Moreover the system also accepts gradient colors in the “mouseover and active status”
And the dropdown works, too!
So far thanks for your support!
Remaqins the question: How to bring back the pictures of the posts?
@Syahir:
Sounds good!!
@Josh:
what do you mean with the “filter” property? A setting in IE8 or on wordpress settiungs?
Hi Josh,
I have inserted an picture in the actual post via the editor function while creating a new post.
By the way, all pictures of all posts of this side “sponsoring” are still in the post overview (Dashboard) available.
There, everything looks normal…
Any Idea on the main-menue color problem in IE8… to me it seems to be a browser problem.
Ok, if the color problem would only occur in the graphene-options for me as admin, I could deal with it, but it also comes up on the online website so everybody can see this malfunction on IE8…
