When not perched on my workspace, I tremendously enjoy hiking in the bushes and climbing mountains. They serve as much-needed refuges from the pretense of cities.

You might want to wait until the next update (1.4) before modifying the top navigation bar. It has been completely rewritten and has a new style.
As for the slider, just do a search in the forum and you’ll find quite a number of posts regarding that.
Also, please post support requests in the correct section next time. Topic moved to the Support section.

I’m still seeing a second jQuery library being loaded in your footer. Try deactivating all your plugins so that I can see.

Try deactivating all your plugins and see if the problem is still there.

There’s been a few reports of this previously, but I wasn’t able to figure out what was the cause. I tried sharing a post from the theme’s demo site on facebook and it works just fine.
Now I’m thinking maybe there’s some sort of hotlinking protection on your server that prevents images from your server being displayed on another domain.

jQuery library was included twice in your website, once in the header and another in the footer. There should be only one, otherwise it will cause conflicts and hence the slider not working.
Check your plugins and try deactivate them one by one to see which one is loading up the other extra jQuery library.

Try resetting the permalink setting to the default one and see if it works.

Try saving the permalink settings again. If it still doesn’t work, try this permalink setting:
/topics/%category%/%postname%/See if it works.

This is definitely a permalink issue. What setting do you have on WP Admin > Settings > Permalinks ?
