Thanks Prasanna,
I will have to get new spectacles for not seeing that 🙂
Is there a set list of Fonts that I can use? Courier New works, but I am looking for something a bit fancier.
Thanks,
Mango
Thanks for the advice, and apologies for messing up the site.

May 26, 2012 at 5:04 pm #28719Hi again Kenneth,
I am in Thailand at present but most of my audience are in the US. Facebook and Twitter have both been causing screen freezes here in the last few days. I guess I have to imagine it from the point of view of my audience.
Having a Widget with recent Twitter comments in it is a total disaster, especially if its on the home page ….
Cheers,
Mango.

May 26, 2012 at 4:57 pm #28718Hello Vasvaria, the issue with the last of Social buttons dropping to the next line is happening on Chrome, and usually only on the Posts. I just tried IE9 and its fine.
If I can’t get them to work reliably I will go without, I need to concentrate on content rather than get bogged down on these little issues.
Thanks again,
Mango.

May 26, 2012 at 4:51 pm #28716Thanks Kenneth, that answers a few questions for me. I wasn’t aware of the user preference option.
I must say I find the whole social bookmarking thing a bit hit and miss, I have tried dozens of Plugins and ended having trouble with all of them. I find screen loads an issue, often get a message that site is waiting for Twitter etc.
I would rather not have the icons at all but i think it still helps a little with traffic.
Thanks again,
Mango.

May 26, 2012 at 1:12 pm #28713The other weird thing is that the last Social Sharing button always drops down to next line. Hate these weird little things that take up so much time.

May 26, 2012 at 12:59 pm #28712Thanks Vasvaria, that certainly works and is a lot easier than what I was trying to do.
Now I just need to nut out how to add Twitter and G+ buttons.I have never been able to work out what the “preferred” numbers actually correspond too.
I will get there.
Thanks again. That’s what makes Graphene such a great Theme, help is only minutes away.

Its OK, I just nutted it out with info from an older post. This what I used in case anyone is interested:
.header-widget {
position:fixed;
top:100px;
right:800px;
}

May 26, 2012 at 12:14 pm #28710just spent a couple of days getting a standard set of Social Sharing buttons to work properly in 1.7 now it seem that I must start again in version 1.7.1 There must an easier way? a lot of themes just have them built in? I don’t really want to install an additional plugin just to have Social Buttons.
Does anyone have a shortcut to place a basic set of 32px sharing buttons at the bottom of my posts to give my brain a rest? 9its been a long day)
Thanks in advance.
Thought I would use this same css mod on another site to do a similar thing but it has no effect. The Header widget remains firmly in top left corner. I want to move it the right hand end of the Header.
Site is http://8steps2health.com/AboutHealth/
Help appreciated.
