Where are the social media icon paths located in 1.7.1 style.css?

Thanks Kenneth, that answers a few questions for me. I wasn’t aware of the user preference option.
I must say I find the whole social bookmarking thing a bit hit and miss, I have tried dozens of Plugins and ended having trouble with all of them. I find screen loads an issue, often get a message that site is waiting for Twitter etc.
I would rather not have the icons at all but i think it still helps a little with traffic.
Thanks again,
Mango.

If the servers that serve up these social bookmarks are in the US (as Twitter’s are, I believe) and you are in Australia, that may explain why page loading times are an issue.
If your servers and most of your readers are in Australia, you might want to see if there are Australian versions of these social sharing sources.
Of course, Twitter is often over capacity, meaning that when you go there, you get that picture of a whale being lifted by small blue birds. They have been better in the past few months, but who knows.
Hello Vasvaria, the issue with the last of Social buttons dropping to the next line is happening on Chrome, and usually only on the Posts. I just tried IE9 and its fine.
If I can’t get them to work reliably I will go without, I need to concentrate on content rather than get bogged down on these little issues.
Thanks again,
Mango.
Hi again Kenneth,
I am in Thailand at present but most of my audience are in the US. Facebook and Twitter have both been causing screen freezes here in the last few days. I guess I have to imagine it from the point of view of my audience.
Having a Widget with recent Twitter comments in it is a total disaster, especially if its on the home page ….
Cheers,
Mango.
