I search to reduce the size of “Make a comment” and I don’t know how proceed.
Add this to your custom CSS:
#respond > h3 {font-size:14px;}or whatever size you want. See this page for a more thorough explanation.I want to remove small tools to have the text layout when you want to comment …
Disable the WP HTML Markitup plugin you have installed. OR, if you mean the default tools, then go to Graphene Options >> Display >> Comments Display Options and tick the box marked “Hide allowed tags in comment form”.

Add
#content {
padding-top: 0px;
padding-bottom: 0px;}to your custom CSS.

Probably something to do with a widget or plugin, but switch them back and we can take a look.

So it’s just an older Safari issue I guess? Weirdness.
Yes, older browsers tend not to display things correctly. They’re not being capricious, they’re just doing the best that they can.

The avatar is something that follows a given user around the web — it is not specific to your specific blog. So if I comment on your blog, using my avatar, it shows up the same way on both blogs.
The Graphene author pic allows users to add a pic that is specific to your site. It could be a non-avatar type pic (i.e., an actual photograph) as opposed to a symbolic image.
They are used in different places, and I admit that this can be quite confusing unless you play around with the settings to see where they are and are not used.

Is there a way to send you/post a screenshot?
In Windoze, use the snipping tool. Save it to your desktop (or wherever) and then post it to Twitpic or something similar.
Looks good in Safari 5.1 to me, too. Which version of Safari are you using?

So, if i need to modify one line of a php file (or if i need to remove one) i can just put the whole modified file in the child folder.
I believe so. (But it’s been a while since I’ve created a child theme.)
If i need to add a function, i can just put the new function to an empty functions.php file in the child folder.
Yes.
In the child folder, there’s no need to keep the files that are equal to the orig folder.
True.
does this apply to images folder too?
I believe so, yes.

Also, to make things line up better, you might want to try the Tiny MCE Clear plugin to clear the floats. Works a treat!
