Kenneth, if you include the URL to your blog on Facebook, Facebook automatically adds a description paragraph – normally the first paragraph of the post. But without making this change, that description ends up being:
‘You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <abbr title=””> <acronym title=””> <b>
<cite> <del datetime=””> <i> <q cite=””> ‘
That’s not a good enticing teaser to invite people to read your blog post.
Thank you! I just encountered this issue, did a quick search here in the forum, found this answer, and it worked! Thanks very much!
Many, many thanks Josh for the direction, tips and tutorial!
Nicely done, Josh. I’m a novice at CSS and am having trouble locating which setting(s) color the menu font color. Can you help me please with some guidance? Also, is it located in the style.css or style-light.css? Many thanks!
Here’s an update to this. My authors have now created a Gravatar account and uploaded an image, an example of which is here: http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/3e0dc38c3e99d99c6f6f8903596ac2a2.png This image is being pulled and displayed on the Author page; however, the thumbnail of this image is still not being displayed on the index page of the blog or next to any of the individual posts.
