Hi Kenneth
It seems that the problem with the footer only appears when I am logged out of the admin area.
If I use an HTML Validator application I can see that error appears to be a closed div on line 310 (line 310 column 5 – Warning: discarding unexpected </div>) that does not have a corresponding open command but where this is being generated from I don’t know.
Any ideas please?
Thanks
Deryn

Hi Kenneth
I think I understand this, am I correct that it will do the following:
1. I create a post, (I would like an excerpt of this post to appear on the mail blog page).
2. I am then able to use, say the category of this post to feature the complete post on a separate page reserved for posts of that category.
3. Repeat the above for different categories, each with their own main page
Hope this makes sense?
Kind regards
Deryn

April 12, 2013 at 4:53 pm #37618Hi Prasanna
Sorry about not noticing that earlier.
Can the bottom corners of the sidebar widgets be rounded as well, and if so what would be the code for that please?
Many thanks
Deryn

I’ve tried the above but it does not seem to work, can you advise where I might be going wrong please?

Hi Syahir
That’s correct, the image does not show. Instead It just shows a blue header.
Hope this helps.

Hi Kenneth
Sorry, here you go:
http://www.blog.bigfish-littlefishuk.co.uk/
Code:
.sidebar h3 {
background: url(“/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/right-bg.jpg”) !important; color:#000;
}
Hope this helps.

Hi Prasanna
I’ve added the image to the sidebar but for some reason it does not work in IE9. It works fine in IE10 and Firefox though.
I’ve tried to use a full path to the image instead of a short one: wp-content/uploads/2013/04/right-bg.jpg but this does not work either.
Any ideas?
Hope to speak soon.
Best wishes
Deryn
