Thanks Kim, that got me started in the right direction,

Right now I added this in my child theme:

#nav {

padding-left: 12px;

width: 948px;

}

Basically moves the whole menu over to the right by 12px, then cuts off the extra space by cutting off 12px off the total width,

Think this might work, need to test it some now,

See how the header image border has been widened, and now the menu is stuck to the left?
