    I found the right code to solve the problem.

    Next question. I have disabled comments on the homepage posts. However, I would like to allow comments on the blog page. Can I allow blog comments without them showing up on the homepage?

    After looking at another page and comparing source codes I discovered that in the HTML view appeared at the beginning and end of the paragraph that was highlighted. Deleted these and the highlight went away. The site works fine now.
